Adam Kosik

A landscape architect by education, an illustrator by profession. He has lived in Warsaw all his life and it so happens that he finds the most interesting subjects for his illustrations in the nooks and crannies of the capital's streets. He makes no secret of the fact that he is most inspired by architecture and the context in which people find themselves. He has a weakness for post-war modernism, for architecture that is becoming increasingly scarce around us. He brings out the character of his drawings by means of a strong colour scheme, which does not refer directly to the objects he draws, but is rather an attempt to find a compromise between the literalness of architecture and illustrative fantasy. In my spare time, I browse doggy accounts on Instagram and ride my bike.
